7. The Thunder Box bathroom
This is a great room with classic Italian marble walk in shower large enough for the whole family. Original 1789 wedgewood toilet called the THUNDER BOX (the comfiest loo ever) and a huge antique bathtub, with all the original fixtures and fittings.

8. Flynn's Room

Double room with twin beds, fireplace with armchairs, views over the lawn. (No images).

9. Oscar's Room
Very large double bedroom with comfortable sitting area and original marble working fire, great double windows with lovely view over the lawn. (Can accomodate family).

10. Lady Napier Master suite
Our majestic country bedroom has a relaxing sitting area with a working stone fire. The south facing bay windows bring in the most gorgeous light and beautiful views. Leading onto a large original dressing room, with wall to wall hand-made closets.

En-Suite Bathroom
Fantastic walk in marble shower & huge original bathtub beside real fire.

Large South facing room with 3 single beds overlooking the veranda..

Double room with queen size bed, south facing over garden.

GONE FISHING

The Tweed, alongside the River Nith, can boast the longest season of any Salmon River in this country. The season begins on the 1st of February and runs right through to the 30th of November, with fishing available from Monday through to Saturday (no Sunday fishing). More info.
MELROSE THE HOME OF RUGBY

Rugby 7s was founded in Melrose in 1883. The game of rugby 7s is now played on an international stage from Hong Kong to Scotland and is testimony to its founder in the Scottish Borders town, Ned Haig. More info.
