“The house is surrounded by its own woodland”
“…and extensive gardens, including a covered veranda (we christened it the gin terrace) overlooking gardens and extensive lawns we used for croquet, badminton, etc.”

“I can’t praise Kippilaw House enough. A party of 30 of us spent a weekend at Kippilaw House for my daughter’s hen party.”
“…We had a wonderful weekend in this magnificent and welcoming house. Everything is provided for to make your weekend whatever you want it to be. There are no noise restrictions which is important when thirty chattering girls get together. Self catering is done with ease as the kitchen is very well equipped. We also had a delicious meal served on the second night by Lil. Fabulous place. Thank you so much.”

“We all had the most fantastic weekend at Kippilaw… hosting a 21st birthday celebration.”
“…for my closest 20 friends and close family and we had such a fun time. The old house is full of character and Lil and all the staff were so hospitable and welcoming. The planning of the weekend was made super easy also with Lil’s super relaxed approach. Would thoroughly recommend.”

“I could not recommend this house more for a big group (30 of us on a hen do) to celebrate.”
“…The house is absolutely beautiful. The catered night was fantastic (food delicious). We were able to order hot tubs, food and drink delivery which was there when we arrived. Loads of outdoor space. We had no need to leave Kippilaw House from Friday to Sunday. What a fantastic weekend. I'd love to go back!”

“We enjoyed three nights of splendour in Kippilaw House.”
“We were guest of our friends who were home from NZ for Christmas and New Year and we enjoyed three nights of splendour in Kippilaw House including Dinner for 44 on New Year's Eve. The house sleeps 30 easily, and has been done to a standard which is just right: nice old features retained everywhere, very good kitchen for working in (I cooked for the 44), nice new bathrooms and the rest of the house surprisingly warm for a big old house with a lovely lived in feel so you don't feel you have to walk around on eggshells.”
